A: Yes. Past scholarship winners are eligible to apply again.

A: Yes. This scholarship is open to all full time undergraduate, graduate, and/or students pursuing degree programs at accredited colleges or universities in good academic standing, as well as graduating high school seniors with written proof of acceptance at an accredited institution of higher learning. Students must reside in one of the five Central Coast counties: Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura.

A: Yes, however if there are reasons you are taking a less than full-load of classes and still applying, please explain your situation within the application.

A: No. Letters of recommendation must be included with your online scholarship application and all required supplementary documents, such as your transcript.

A: No. All scholarship applications and supporting documents must be submitted online through the CLCCCF website. Items received through the mail or via email will not be accepted.

A: The Foundation cannot accept letters of recommendation submitted apart from the online scholarship application.

A: Although official transcripts are preferred, we will also accept unofficial transcripts.

A: No. Students of all immigration statuses are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

A: Students selected to receive a scholarship will be notified via email per the Key Dates on the Scholarship page. Additionally, a complete list of all scholarship winners will be posted to the CLCCCF website and released to the public via press release. Due to the large number of expected applications, the CLCCCF is unable to send notifications to applicants who are not awarded a scholarship.
